The pupusas are phenomenal, and unlike a lot of places, you get a huge vat of unlimited (and delicious) slaw. Abi is wonderful and personable. She noticeably cares about food, her restaurant, and pleasing her customers with delicious food."
"One of the best meals I've had in 2016. The tacos were amazing -the pupusas were amazing -the limonada was amazing - the beans were amazing - the plantains were amazing. Easily 5 out of 5 stars. Service was also fantastic. So great to be in a restaurant that genuinely cares. Thank you Abi's."
"Want to try authentic Salvadoran food? Then go here, don't go anywhere else. If you all go at once, the wait is worth it since it's a small place. One of those hole in the wall places that will keep you coming back over and over. Like pupusas? Order them from here! Want a desayuno tipico? Go here!! You won't regret it. This is coming from a native from El Salvador and a harsh food critic."
"I visited Abi's Cafe on a Saturday afternoon with a friend. When we arrived all but one table was taken. Luckily, we grabbed the last table! We both ordered the "Combinacion Guanaca" which came with two mixed pupusas (one meat, one cheese). Abigail came to wait on us, herself, and I told her that I was vegetarian. When we were served our food she substituted the meat pupusa for another vegetarian side (which was very yummy!). I thought it was very kind of her to do that and everything my friend and I ordered was delicious! Abigail thanked us for stopping by and we left with full stomachs! I can't wait to go back to Abi's Cafe again and I will recommend it to all my friends that are interested in trying Salvadoran cuisine. It was a wonderful experience!"
"This is a great restaurant! You can tell she really cares about her food and customers. I like that her menu is in both English and Spanish. I highly reccommend all of her shrimp entrées. I'm editing my reivew here to add a word about Johnny, Abi's partner in crime! Haha. I appreciate his friendly customer service; he always has a smile on his face! Keep up the good work!"
